“I cannot die so easily.”
The best part of the video may be when Jackson addresses the comments she’s heard about her daughter and sets the record straight about statements like you “wanted a girl so you turned your child into one” and “kids have no idea what they want or who they are — my kids wants to be a dog, should I let him?”
God damn cute cows being so god damned cute.
And all of a sudden they could be playing Sirius and Remus instead…
Just give it 20 years.
what are you in the mood for
something with a plot and fantasy elements
hfgjdnfjksdfjds jure was all hyped up about this one manga that i CANNOT REMEMBER THE NAME OF FOR THE LIFE OF ME i will get back to you on that
meanwhile, you might enjoy a cruel god reigns — it’s v dark, psychological shoujo but it’s an old classic and the writing and plot is absolutely amazing, i think it won tons of awards. anddddddddd a rly good shoujo right now is kyou no kira-kun. if you’re not reading koe no katachi you DEFINITELY SHOULD BE!!!! (it’s the one about the deaf girl who got bullied at school it is so unreal how good it is).
aside from that i’m reading three shoujos: hana to rakurai (it’s super short but it’s very sweet and lighthearted), hajimari no niina (vaguely fantasy/paranormal??? it’s interesting and cute idk), and i’m gonna start orange soon because i have only heard great things about it (and it also has a slight supernatural element to it!)
regardless LISTEN TO MEGAN AND FINISH MAISON IKKOKU IT’S SO GOOD. AND RUMIKO TAKAHASHI’S CURRENT MANGA IS REALLY GREAT ALSO, IT’S CALLED KYOUKAI NO RINNE
i hope that was remotely helpful!!!!! ;____;
EDIT: STOP EVERYTHING AND READ SARASHI ASOBI
Huh, which one?
the one you made dillon read and were like “go into it blind don’t read the summary just go”
Oh. It’s neither fantasy nor shoujo, but it’s Gakkou Gurashi if you’re still interested. My recommendation to read it blind is still in effect, but keep in mind I definitely recommended it to Dillon because of his specific tastes in anime and such.
The first one is a josei fantasy about some kids in a high school reawakening their memories to their previous lives in a world with knights and magic and all that. There are some elements of romance, but otherwise its an incredibly plot driven story. Be warned it has like a billion characters that are all relevant to the plot and despite keeping up with it since the very beginning, I still can’t name more than like three of them (it doesn’t help that some of the characters have similar faces as well, further confusing me).
The second is actually a surprisingly tactful shoujo romance. The synopsis sounds a little weird, but despite a slow start, it develops into an increasingly cute if not slightly problematic romance story.
It’s also just occurred to me both of those are tagged as “Gender Bender,” coincidentally enough. Take that as you will.
YOU’RE THE BEST AND I LOVE YOU
